We are committed to representing our diverse Jewish community, and we welcome a broad spectrum of viewpoints. Our intent is to ensure this platform is inclusive and safe. Your use of JewishPhoenix.com is subject to these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
Keep it kind
We ask you to play nice and be civil. Please act with maturity and consideration, and don’t be offensive, name call or bully. Keep in mind that we will remove extremely offensive or threatening content, including content that endorses or promotes anti-Semitism or other forms of bigotry, including racism, sexism and homophobia, or that seeks to proselytize Jews away from Judaism.
Keep it relevant
Our goal is to be the digital home of the Jewish community in Phoenix. We therefore ask you to only post local events that are being produced or co-sponsored by a Jewish organization, or local events with Jewish content, subject to the approval of the JewishPhoenix.com editorial team. We also ask that you only post blog content that is specifically relevant to the Phoenix Jewish community.
Events and blogs, which are contributed by third parties, are featured at the discretion of the editors. Featuring an event or blog does not imply endorsement of the opinions, facts or media expressed by this content on the part of JewishPhoenix.com or its editors.
Keep it respectful
We ask you to respect that JewishPhoenix.com and its parent organization, Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix (CJP), believe that Israel’s security depends on a strong American Jewish community that upholds the basic principle of Israel’s right to exist, in safety and security. We won’t accept content—from individuals or organizations—that denies Israel’s right to exist as a secure, democratic Jewish state, including support for or participation in the BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanction) movement. We also won’t accept content from organizations that seek to create a combative environment, impose one particular political or religious agenda as the truth or whose core values and strategies include antagonizing Jewish communal institutions.
